Our nursery is split into a number of different rooms, specifically designed to cater for children of different ages. In each room your child
will be assigned a key worker and a room leader, who will document their progress on a daily basis to help them achieve and develop their new skills.
The Baby Rooms (0-2 years)
The baby rooms are cosy and have a large supply of age appropriate toys. We involve the babies in daily activities linked to the seven areas of learning on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum including sensory activities involving sand, water and jelly.
The Toddler Rooms (2-3 years)
The room is well equipped with a range of exciting and
stimulating toys and games, whilst following the EYFS
curriculum. Activities include singing, dancing, crafts, story
time, sand and water play. Children who require a sleep may
do so in a quiet and restful area. When the time comes to potty training we will work closely with parents/carers at this exciting time.
The Pre-school Rooms (3-5 years)
In the pre-school room our daily routine revolves around the
seven areas of learning. We follow the EYFS curriculum to
ensure your child is ready for the move up to Primary School.
We also take into account their nutritional needs and well-being. Through our structured day in pre-school we sing and dance, dress up and play musical instruments as well as having quiet circle time with stories.Outdoor play and activities are also encouraged whatever the weather.
Outdoor Play Area (all ages)
Our purpose built outdoor play area is safe and secure but great fun. All of the children are invited outside at least twice a day for exercise, fresh air and fun.
